I was a bit disappointed for not having any meal, but fortunately the kitchen was well equipped. I also missed a TV from our own roome, there was only one in a TV room, but everything else was perfect. Márk Dávid, from Hungary ~ 4th Apr 2012

We stayed at the hostel for 2 nights this week and were very very pleased.We had expected the normal hostel situation but our twin room was really nice, spacious, clean and colourful.The guys running the place were very friendly and very helpful.Much appreciated was the great kitchen facilities, again very clean and tidy with everything you could need.If I was back in Dundee I would absolutely stay at the Dundee Backpackers again - more a hotel than a hostel. Great location, everything is within walking distance! Very friendly staff, helpful with every problem! The best hostel I stayed at during my twelve country backpacking trip. Kind, helpful staff, clean hostel, comfy beds, and a fun game room. Cool art bar down the street too. Wld stay at again.:) Jennifer, from USA ~ 16th May 2012

Rooms and common rooms were very nice and clean. The hostel is inside a very recent restructured palace, except for the stairs. The stairs need a repainting and someone that clean them.
