  • Has everything you need for a good price. Met a lot of cool people here. Beds are not long enough for me, but if youre 6'7" you expect that already. You have to leave your shoes inside the entry way, which is under surveillance so its not bad but that was still the sketchiest thing. You can drink here until 10pm. All in all, worth it

  • It was a great experience. I was in DC for a conference between April 18-21. The Host Hotel in Crystal City, VA was charging $108 per night (as the "special" group rate) and over 250 for on the spot arrival. Parking was $24. Instead, I booked my hostel for $25 a night and only paid $87 for the whole weekend. Not to mention the location is with blocks of the metro station. I'll be in Baltimore in August and have already booked my room.

  • Place was wonderful, best hostel I've stayed in and was only $30 for a great room. Would recommend anytime. Additionally its right beside a grocery, a liquor store, a rent-a-bike station, and a restaurant. And only 10 minutes to the national mall!

  • Overall it's a good place for a single traveler to spend several nights with limited budgets. One inconvenience I felt was that power sockets were limited in the room which made it a little difficult to charge all my devices.

  • Duo hostel suck ..I never had so such attitude to customers like there..They wouldnt let new customer even relax for a bit in a lobby before 3 Pm when time of check in.. They charge all money before arrive They requare guests to leave their shoes out and people have to be shoes off ..Stuff charge guests up to 1000 $ for flashing some papers into toilet and if some trouble will happen with this damn toilet. Not so such great location..You have to walk at least 20 minutes to reach some.SUCKY

  • It had been a few years since I stayed at a hostel and I was a bit worried since my memory included uncomfortable beds and early mornings. Duo Housing was lovely surprise and changed my mind about hostels. The staff goes above and beyond to make your experience feel like home away from home. More like staying at a friend's place than hosteling.

  • Great Hostel at a good location in DC, you can walk to the mall if you want. Staff was very helpful, very friendly atmosphere in general. You can also use the kitchen, fridge, stove and everything! Maybe a bit pricey for bunk beds, but you'll hardly find something cheaper in the city, so I guess that's okay.

  • I wasn't sure what to expect from a hostel in the US, but I was incredibly impressed. The place has a friendly environment that facilitates interactions among people from numerous cultures. The one negative was housing in a room with so many other people, meaning that one might occasionally wake up due to someone else snoring. But for the price, this was an excellent facility!

  • Definitely one of the cleanest hostels I've been in so far. Close to everything. They're pretty good at keeping the noise down and the partiers under control. Simple, cheap, and straightforward. If you just want to relax and go to sleep at night, this is probably the best place in DC. Also a Serbian guy who works there gave me some Serbian food he cooked. It needed a little salt but besides that it was good :)

  • Duo Hostel's is a good place to stay if you wanna travel around the Washington D.C. It has a good location, staffs, and atmosphere. Hostel is not that fancy looking place but it has everything you want. Also it is good to stay there because you can meet various friends in there. It is great for you guys to try to start a talk with others in kitchen area. :P Have fun guys ~ (+ You cannot drink alcohol after 10 pm in the Hostel though.)

  • Showers are all glass doors in a communal room. Hot water is gone most of the day due to too many people and not enough showers. Staff wouldnt move my partner from a top bunk at request, even though she had just had surgery and could split her stitches THE TOP BUNK BED BROKE, twisting my friends leg and nearly splitting her stitches Staff made her carry all her stuff back up 2x flights of stairs after this. Didnt like this place, but would be ok for 1 or 2 nights. Go somewhere else if you can.
