- “ The staff is the key, and the variety of people you meet is increasing a plus factor to make this the best hostel I have stayed at. ”

- “ House changed into a hostel, which is fine but no locks on any doors, most things in the kitchen don't work & no signage out front at all. There are very little restrooms and one of the two is through another room so no access if doors are shut. Awkward and pretty ridiculous considering how many people are staying in the hostel. "Free parking" means "if you can find a spot on the street". ”

- “ This place was 2nd worst hostel I have ever stayed in. Worst is Hostel California in Venice Beach - I hope that place is closed by now. I stayed at 3 hostels during this trip in California. 2 were fantastic. This hostel is like a cattle drive. They are full b/c they are cheap and centrally located. They bring u in and they send u out. Thank God they were full after the first night. I booked the BEST hostel (in the USA) I have ever stayed in after this one. ”

- “ Well, the way I saw it was like: "The crew hated my guts..." but, they were cool and tried not to let me know that. The place is located in a residential area so, they are rules about noise and music and what not. Few things near by to pick, other major things a little further down. Nice place with Sunday's BBQ on the house. Real situation with the bathrooms in the mornings, but is not a biggie if you can hold it and don't care about taking a cold shower... ”

- “ Overall, it was an exceptional experience. The opportunity of meeting people from all over the world, the location at a home in Crenshaw in the middle of West Hollywood, the sense of safety and care from the staff. The beds weren't very comfortable, and the showers are limited on water, but I would come back here to stay in L.A. ”

- “ Its a little like family. You enter the hostel and stand in the living room :) The staff is great and helps you with everything you need. a groceri store, the bus station and restaurants and other stuff are close by. You need to be comfortable sleeping with 7 other people in a room, thats means sharing bathroom, being quiet if other people already sleep etc. The atmosphere is what you make out of it, but its easy meeting new people and having a good time. I recommend it and would go there again. ”

- “ We stayed in the first floor; it was impossible to sleep in the morning. People started making a lot of noise before 8am in the kitchen. Plus, we had a shared bathroom INSIDE our room, so people came in to use it even when we were still sleeping! That was not only weird and uncomfortable, but also annoying. There's nothing to do nearby the hostel, so you'll need some kind of transportation to go anywhere. ”

- “ Dan, AZ, Alessandro, Alex and Pedro all made my stay in LA fantastic. Possibly the nicest staff I've encountered in my travels. The hostel feels more like a home where you can kick back and relax. It's also conveniently located, as there are many buses that are outing Wilshire, and the metro is a 15 minute walk. Would stay again in a heartbeat! ”

- “ It is a great place! Great staff, great helpful but little strange rules. Great living room. The only one problem was that 2 nights of my stay there, it was no hot water, but this is defiantly minor. This place is great, and when I'll b back in LA this is the place I will stay, it is very very cheep as well! ”

- “ Great place with a great vibe. Interesting people. very nice staff. Place has character to say the least. A little bit of a walk from the metro (but can use the bus I believe). I would definitely stay there again. ”

- “ It's a regular building changed into a hostel, you can't recognize it from the outside (no logo, etc.) - but still easy to find (thanks streetview). The number of bathrooms is definitely too small. Very friendly staff, excellent! All the rest - as everywhere. ”

- “ A super relaxed homey hostel with delicious pancakes in the morning. Reasonably priced, helpful, very welcoming. Don't expect a big neon sign though; it's indistinguishable from the rest of the neighborhood! Once I learned to recognize the fence it was fine. I came by car and had no trouble finding street parking any time of the day or night. ”
