This is an excellent hostel. The location seems a little bit out of the centre of Berlin but this doesn't matter - it is well into the east of the city, which means there are a heap of great restaurants and cafes and small art gallery dotted around the surrounding streets. The hostel itself is quite small with a little beer garden out the back - reception sells 1 euro 500ml beers during happy hour 8pm-10pm (2 euros the rest of the day), as well as cheap coffee and snacks. The hostel was spotless the staff were social, friendly fun and knowledgeable free veggie food on Monday is a great concept to interact with the other guests & the food was beautiful thanks to there entertaining chef ... The tour guide is a legend and above that they had nice outdoor courtyard and a dishwasher! What more do you want. Best hostel I ever stayed in. :D Brigitte, from Belgium ~ 22nd Apr 2011
