Excellent place, however, you must be very careful when walking in Santa Lucia area....we had a gold chain ripped from my husbands neck and there were many other robberies that happened to people who we met in the same area with purses slashed, wallets/gold stolen. Metro was safe and easy access to get to the TurBus...trips were very cheap this way....use the TurBus...but bring your own headphones. Hostel was extremely clean and staff very helpful. I really liked the eco hostel, basic but a good location and safe. the staff is great -i needed urgent medical care while there, without the help of hostal staff wouldve been much more of an ordeal! i would definately stay here again! david, from USA ~ 2nd Jul 2009

Eco Hostel is perfection. We have nothing negative to say about it. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The size of the hostel is just perfect and the location is brilliant. I really like the pplace.I felt that I was with my family because the staffs are very friendly.I really strongly recommend to someone that wants to visit Chile.The rooms are very clean and very close to the public tramportation and subway. Das Hostel ist einfach super, zentral gelegen,SEHR sauber und nette Besitzer. Dei traumhafte Haengematte ist schon Grund genug um dieses Hostel zu waehlen. Sehr Sehr empfehlenswert! Este hostal es muy bonito,super limpio y la gente es muy amable y te ayuda en todo. esta colocado en un sector seguro cerca de bellavista y el centro.
