Only found issues on secondary things: tricky pool table with the coins and no usb on the public computer. The possibility of buying soap or little gel bags would be nice, since buying those things for a couple of days and with no chance of bringing them by plane. Julian, from Spain ~ 25th Nov 2011

Accommodation was in separate building to lounges & laundry, etc. Rooms were very small but clean & tidy. Funky smell in entrance to accom probably from the filthy alley that the enterance is off. Staff were lovely & discount breakfast in the cafe is good. Margaret, from Australia ~ 5th Nov 2011

The location is good but during the weekend it can get a bit noisy with Yum-Yum being there on the F. Close. The shower works OK and you might need to fiddle with the thermostat but that's not the hostel's fault. My dislikes concern the room's tiny trash bin and the toilet which was hard to flush. You could do a quick check-up in the rooms each day. This would increase the cleanliness points. Overall we loved our stay and we'll definitely come back sometime. Otto, from Finland ~ 3rd Nov 2011

The staff at Edingburgh Backpackers are lots of fun and a helping hand in every situation. The Hostel is placed down town in the middle of the very cool & charming part of the old city. In addission to the facilities, your stay comes with dicounts to various bars in the area - especially especially the pub called "The Royal Mile" placed 100 meters from the hostel. Thank you for a nice hostel - We will definitely come back!! Kristoffer Hedemann, from Denmark ~ 19th Sep 2011

it's a very big hostel, in a very nice, old house, half minute from the main road, Royal Mile. Buta bit expensive during the festival - but everything is expensive in these weeks of the festival. Piroska, from Hungary ~ 18th Aug 2011

I only spent there one night, arrived at night and left early morning so I don`t know much about the hostel. Marika, from Estonia ~ 29th Jul 2011

We had problem with the payment and the staff was not helpful with us (we paid and they told us we did not). Dalton, from Brazil ~ 9th May 2011

The staff doesn't care about you and the hostel is disgusting. They don't change the sheets between 2 differents reservations and the bathrooms are never cleaned. I saw some girls crying in the shower because everything was very dirty. I wouldn't recommend this hostel not even to my enemies.
