  • Dust, dirt, spider web, dirty sheets, pillow cases, beds, rooms, bathrooms. Everything is really dirty. When I came back home I got sick because I catched streptococcus (bacteria) there and I am still drinking antibiotics.Boss is ok,he is funny man, you can chat with him and drink and everything but it is really dirty. His clean sheets are even dirtier than the old ones. I would recommend you this hostel but only if you pay 3 euros per night. If you pay more you are robbed. Only plus is location.

  • The hostel is actually a flat. The building looks very old, it is kind of an old-style condominium, but inside the hotel is ok. The main advantage is that its located in the very centre, so you can walk from there to many places, and there are lots of shops, restaurants and clubs all around there. Unfortunately, I was there only one night and there were not many other guests, but I can imagine it could be a lot of fun, if there is a good crowd!

  • Nice and quite helpful people, easy going atomosphere, ideal location. Bed linen is looks old but still clean. Only one thing I would be concerned about the kitchen facility was not so efficient. The necessecity of calling for someone to put on the fire of the gas table was quite annoying. Definitely need to fix or replace it for the customer satisfaction.

Practically, Barcelona is a pretty easy city to navigate on foot or by public transport with a well laid-out grid system for the streets and a simple metro system. Here's an example of what you can do with 24 hours and a T10 (10 journey) metro ticket.
