- “ Hard to find - on a gravel road a couple blocks from the church. The rooms are small but clean, and the shower had hot water (the other Costa Rican hostels we visited did not). The woman that runs the hostel does not speak English, so it's best if you know some Spanish. ”

- “ This isn't the worst place but there seem to be better options in La Fortuna. It's a couple blocks off the main road around some other houses. It is cheap, but you get what you pay for. There were some issues with the lock and the lady that met us was not friendly when first checking in which made us a feel a bit unwelcome to begin. She was a bit nicer later on, but the first impression was very negative. One positive is that the wifi was good, though note that no one seems to speak English. ”
