I made a reservation through hostels.com, but when I arrived at firulete, the responsable said to me that was a mistaken and no room were available. He refunded me , but i had to search for a place to stay again. Andre, from Brazil ~ 13th Oct 2009

Great staff. Met some awesome people and it was close to a lot of places by foot...especially calle de Florida. Check it out! Michael, from USA ~ 11th Feb 2009

Really good value, historical building. Free wireless internet is a huge bonus. Only real problem is that the windows have no insulation and it is LOUD LOUD LOUD. Earplugs absolutely necessary to sleep. Vinita, from USA ~ 25th Jan 2009

Trevelers don`t have access to kitchen, it is impossible to have some hot water or make your own sandwich. Hot water for bath just after asking then to turn on the aparatus. Marcelo and Caren (Brazil) Marcelo, from Brazil ~ 13th Jan 2009

It was very very noisy at night. It seems like all the buses in BA use the Maipu road outside of the hostel 24/7, which made it very hard to sleep. Other than that it was a good place. Katherine, from Canada ~ 14th Jan 2009

Very convenient location, but a downside of it being in the middle of downtown is that it´s quite loud at night. It´s hard to sleep in when downtown traffic is buzzing by underneath your window. Very clean rooms and bathrooms, with AC! Scott, from USA ~ 25th Dec 2008

Undoubtely, the perfect location in Buenos Aires! During the day you can reach any place in the city, specially the shops, which are all near by. At night, though it may look desert, there's always life, since BsAs never stops! Thanks for the attention of the staff I could feel comfortable during all my stay! PS: breakfest from 08 do 12!!!!! I would recommend staying here. The staff is knowledgable and willing to help. I hear that this is their third season coming up. When there are few guests you will surely feel at home. If you can request a room I´d suggest the third floor, it was the quietest during my week stay, but that´s not to say the other floors are too noisy. Daniel, from USA ~ 6th Dec 2008

A good choice. It´s central and close to the subway, making easy to know the city. It´s a little noisy, due to the busy street below. The staff was great and I had great time there! Ewerton, from Brazil ~ 7th Dec 2008
