El Manzano in Merida, Peru

Hey, the price was right.I reccomend it if you are on a tight buget, single room for $11.You can´t beat that.Close to bus and not far from the main square.The neighbour hood has nothing for shops and would be a bit dodgey at night I thinkCabs are cheap at 3 to 4 soles per trip. Really nice place. Very clean with super hot showers and a nice breakfast. Not too far of a walk from either the lake or the plaza- a nice in between distance. They gave us tons of blankets to stay warm too. :-) Jane, from USA ~ 21st Aug 2011
