The staffies are VERY helpful, and they make activites (dinners- tasty and cheap, bar at night, soccer...++) that makes the people visiting El Misti interacting- which surely makes the atmosphere very good.

The food is fantastic, really lively hostel, met some cool people, lots of tours on offer. i repeat the food is fantastic, i want the chef to come on our the rest trip so we get fed good meals!!

We ony stayed here for one night, but would certainlt reccommend it. The place was warm, invitng and friendly and the staff were all really helpful and full of loc knowledge. Will be staying here again next time I'm in Rio. Great Pizza too!

The staff at El Misti were great, so so friendly and helpful. The place was very clean, lockers in every room, great breakfast included. Only negative was lack of bathrooms! Large dorms too, although we stayed in a private room most nights. A great place to party...if thats what you want this is the place for you. I found it a bit too much

We only booked in for 2 nights but ended up staying for 2 weeks, by chosing to stay in El Misti really help us enjoy life in Rio.
Excelent place to stay, with great people that make you feel at home. Highly recommendable if you want to have fun in Rio!!!
