  • Ok, so let me start by saying that I have been traveling since 2005 with 72 countries under my belt and although I have had plenty of great and horrible stays in places this will be the first time that I have ever left a review. I want to thank Coco and his whole team for the great stay and all the above and beyond support they gave to me because I don’t speak any Spanish lol. As soon as I arrived Coco gave me a map and marked all the important places that I would need to know and even told me how to get

  • Coco the owner was a great host and very helpful. He gave great advice on things to do and cheaper alternatives on places to shop. The place was about a 2 minute walk to the local grocery store and no more than a 15 minute walk to the main square. The rooms and bathrooms were good and clean. The hostel had a computer with internet access, which was good for me since I did not travel with my laptop. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks Coco

  • I found this hostel amazing. After arriving back in Cusco at 11:30pm from Machu Picchu (with a total of 25 sols in my pocket - like $10), I had the misfortune to find that Cusco atms decided not to accept my credit card. Had an early morning flight out too. Coco, the owner of the hostel is a true gentleman. He told me and my friend Stefani not to worry - and trusted us to pay him online when we returned home. The hostel is quiet, very clean, and secure - close walk to city center too. Thank you!

  • I could have not dreamed of staying in a better hostel than at El Tuco. Coco was an amazing host, and I could not shake the feeling of being in my own home. \From the help with taxis, trips, food, to attractions, Coco was educated in it all. PLEASE DONT HAVE PISCO SOURS ANYWHERE ELSE! COCO'S ARE WAAAY BETTER THAN ANYWHERE ELSE!! After staying throughout multiple hostels in south america and Peru, nothing comes close to El Tuco. Would return in a heartbeat.
