I had a very good time in El Viajero, Montevideo....their staff, Location an fun are the best thing, before getting there I had seen a lot of other hostels but living there for a week made me see I had done the best choice. Luzia, from Brazil ~ 11th Apr 2009

The staff are absolutely superb, but the hostel itself is only decent. The rooms are a little too small, mosquitos do like to bite at night, the location is great for day tours, but awful for night life. I would stay here again, but would test another place first. Great location. The hostel could be a little bit cleaner but it wasn't that bad. The problem I believe is the interior appearance!Staff on average and staying in a double room is a great idea! Paulo Henrique, from Brazil ~ 28th Apr 2009

The dorms are to small for six beds, and the mosquito thing is true, however is a good place to crash. Excelent location. Carlos, from Mexico ~ 21st Feb 2009

Fun hostel in a great locationn right downtown. The staff were great. The rooms dont have air conditioning so it was incredibly hot in the middle of January. Lots of partying going on, but the rooms were quiet enough. Nice little roof top patio for socializing at night. Christina, from Canada ~ 18th Jan 2009
