Nicest hostel I've ever been too! I felt more like visiting friends than staying in an hostel. I really recommend it to everyone!

Best hostel I've ever stayed at, truly excellent. A bit out of town but not too far (just take the tram) and deffo worth staying there despite being a bit further out! Great staff, extremely clean and really enjoyable. Stay here again for sure.

This isn't the first time I've stayed at Elephant on the Moon.....and hopefully won't be the last! I've travelled all around Europe and this is the nicest, most comfortable, friendliest hostel I have stayed at. Special thanks to Kate and Aga and the rest of the staff for making Krakow such a great city!!!

I received a great welcome here on my arrival 28/02/2008.It was not like the normal Hostel one would expect, it was more like a home from home. It had a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere even ideal for families. The Hostel was in a mature residential area and lovely and quiet. Krakow city center was easily reached by Tram and the stop was about a 3 minute walk. All of the staff had very good English and this was a real plus.As a result directions were easy to follow. While i was there i went to The Salt Mines and Auschwitz and the staff arranged everything for me. The place is absolutely spotless, great breakfast, comfortable bed, brilliant shower, free internet and dvd films if you want to relax. As i was leaving Gregory prepared a packed lunch for me to have when i got to the airport. When i visit Krakow again i will stay at Elephant on the Moon and will recommend it to all my friends. Thanks Gregory,Aga,and Nick for your lovely hospitality. Best Regards Patrick - Dublin,Ireland

The staff here is fantasticly helpful. It is cheap and cheerful and overly clean! Only a short walk or even shorter tram to town you can't beat it!!

I have stayed in a lot of hostels and I have to say that staying here was one of the best hosteling experiances I have had. The hostel itself is not in the old town, but it is only about a 25 min walk to the old town center, which is a very nice walk along the river. If you like you can get to town faster by taking the street car. The place was really clean, the breakfast is great, but I have to say that the best thing about it is the staff. Gregory and Kate where great but AGA steals the show. She was so great! They help you with everything from booking tours to selling the tram tickets right there so you don,t have to deal with it at the tram stop. So if you are looking for a place to stay in Kracow, this should be it. Thanks guys for make my stay so easy and enjoyable.

This hostel is more like being adopted for the duration of your stay than paying for room and board. I highly recommend it. The hostel is built into a quaint house, containing everything you could want plus a bit more. The only reason I could imagine rejecting it, is if: A) You don't want to spend the 10-15 minutes it takes to get to the central areas by tram B) You need noise and raucous partying during the night.

This hostel was excellent! Really clean, staff were extremely friendly and it was great value for money. The hostel is situated slightly outside the city centre, but it is easily walked. I would definitely recommend this hostel and I would certainly stay there again.
