Friendly staff but no breakfast and noisy at night. Would not recommend for a family.

Solvorn is a little hard to get to, but once you do - this is a great place to stay. If you are backpacking, you have to plan carefully around bus schedules and grocery store opening hours. The setting is beatiful and very peaceful, I would recommend staying for at least a couple of days. Trond Henrik (the owner) is a former backpacker, and he runs the place well. My only small complaint is that the dorm is drafty and flimsy, being a converted barn attic, but it wasn't a big deal. I would go back there again anytime (with a car :).

I've loved my stay at Eplet (the apple), a small "bed and breakfast" without the breakfast, but with lots of apple trees instead. The owner is very pleasant and will provide you with ideas for hikes ect.

Bed & Apple it was not because now it's the time for Cherries & Strawberries. They don't serve breakfast but they offer you a full garden of fruits to eat or juice. Very nice and fun. Tron Henry, the boss in camp gived to us alot of information about what to do around, then we decided to stay one more night.

My visit was outside of season and my girlfriend and I got a double room for the same price as a shared dorm room. We kind of had the whole house to ourselves and everything was just perfect. This is a very cosy place and the owner is so nice. You should definitely go here.
