I really enjoyed my stay at Equity Point Centric in Barcelona. I was first hesitant with my booking since I read 2-3 negative reviews.I was pleasantly surprised by the helpfulness and the great attitude of the staff members. The room was very clean.When I go back to Barcelona, I will stay there again.I will also try to stay in other Equity Point Centric locations as i travel. Ken, from USA ~ 10th Apr 2012

Pros: Good location, easy to reach from the airport and can walk to famous spots, generally clean, decent breakfast.Cons: bad security (we had theft inside the dorm), you literally have to pay for everything including blanket, wifi is useless, young teens running around everywhere and invading the kitchen and common room, toilets get filthy from the evening till the morning. most of the staff appear very apathetic Se Young, from New Zealand ~ 26th Jan 2012

really I was very enjoed to stay in this hostel for 8 or 9 nights. location is very comfortable in the central part of BCN - 5 min to get to Rambla and casa Mila. it's really big hostels, very clean, homely. Staff is very frendly. Gracias para todo para muy buen tiempo y viaje)))ah yes,, forget to say about brekfast - - apple, cornflakcs, milk, coffe, maffins,- everything... and very good price for everything... Really big hostel, which takes in the intimacy involved with traveling. Great location but the down side is it's in a very expensive part of the city. They do charge for the little things. Overall enjoyed my stay. ryin, from USA ~ 23rd Sep 2011

A nice hostel. Positive: common room on 2nd floor, great for meeting new people! Also you can do laundry, and the staff is very helpful. Free wifi and breakfast, great. Negative: the 12 bed dorms are great unless you live with partyanimals who come home at 5 in the morning. The bathrooms get quite dirty during the day. And the light in the bathroom turns off when there is no movement in the room - means that when you get a shower the light turns off constantly. Everything was great unless I had to deal with reception. The female staff was nice, but there was one blond guy in particular who was such a jerk! He did not want to be inconvenienced with one single question from the guests. Staff aside, the location cannot be beat at all. The place is big, and the rooms were decent. This hostel had an excellent location, and was in a very nice area of Barcelona. The on-site bar seemed quite popular, but it would have been nice if the rooftop bar had stayed open later than 10pm.The free walking tour was very enjoyable.I would suggest ignoring this website's directions from the airport - they're not the clearest and our group found the Aerobus was far less complicated.
