While the check-in, eating and computer area of the hostel were great, the bathrooms of the hostel were absolutely disgusting. I stayed in the dorm style room with a shared bathroom and the shower base was literally peeling and there was hair and dirt everywhere. Even if they had cleaned up the hair, the peeling bathtub and tiny bathroom was enough to make my stay there unappealing. Sand down the tub and clean up some, and this could then be worth the money for the stay. Rema, from USA ~ 8th Feb 2012

So much better than YHA Hostels. I'd go back to Equity Point in a heartbeat. Eleanor, from USA ~ 27th Oct 2011

not the best attitude in the staff but is ok, you have to pay for the wifi 3 pounds for day and for a padlock, and a deposit for the key.... very good breakfast Martin, from Chile ~ 24th Oct 2011

Pros: Great location to tube and express train to airport. Great price, secure, friendly staff, easy check-in and checkout, breakfast was good enough.I would stay here again. Cons: There was nothing to do in the area and the "bar" area in the hostel was not really a place I would want to hang out. The room was teeny-tiny, even by hostel standards - the quad bunk bed only separated me from the next person by a dividing board between us.Elevator was broken most of the time. We were unusual in that we are both 70 butthe location especially. Overwhelmed by the young was OK, travel person on desk did not have enough English to be sufficiently helpful.Sometimes there is a language difficulty for English speakers when the staff onduty at desk for incomers does not have sufficient English. Nice area, only minutes away from Paddington train station. The bathroom was not clean (hairs in the bathtube on arrival). The lift was out of order during our stay, therefore we had to climb up a narrow wooden staircase (the hostel has seven floors in total). Unfortunately, it was quite noisy at night due to the location of the room to the staircase. Bring your earplugs with you! Janine, from Germany ~ 10th Oct 2011

It's cheap, for the dorms. The privates are expensive and even though you may be by yourself, you have to pay for multiple people if you want a private room. The rooms can be very, very hot and stuffy because there are no fans. The staff is friendly but they don't correct mistakes on pricing and do not compromise. Great location though, for arriving and traveling through Paddington Station. There is a "bar" with no alcohol. There is a locked door, accessible by keycard, but anyone can go in, all Cody, from USA ~ 14th Sep 2011

The 4-bed dorm is too small. Ricardo, from Brazil ~ 7th Sep 2011
