“ The location is what saves this place. However, everything else is okay or not good. The first thing is they have only a few plugs in the 12 bed dorms. There is no where to store your stuff so everyone's stuff is piled in the corner. The carpet is dirty, there is only one bathroom per suite. No additional bathrooms in the hallway etc. I ask the front desk if I could have a bottome bunk he told me no because they were booked. However the entire time I was there were two free bottom bunk. ”

“ It was near the times square about 4 blocks. It was so good~!. But it was too expensive, when I did reserve here, there was no comment about the TAX. But, after I reserved, I could see some comment about the TAX. I have to pay more than $30 each day, before I reserved here. And I have to use one towel for 3days. It was so bad. But free breakfast and location, keep the luggae was good. ”

“ Centrally located, great convenience. my last stay wold have been a success aside from the fact that it took about ten to fifteen minutes to check in each person with about ten waiting, then i had to checkout two nights early and they would not refund the nights. Front desk personnel was not as helpful as the previous i had. Manager didn't do anything to try and mend a relationship with client. An offer for a future stay credit would have been professional and courteous. She lacked spontaneity. ”

“ I stayed in this hostel only one night. Hostel is very close to Time Square which we very appreciate. The room was clean, also bathroom. On breakfast was quite poor, there were lack of cheese or some ham. But overall the stay was fine. ”

“ A fabulous hostel with a great location, clean, well maintained and surprisingly quiet considering it is in central New York, It was great that I could leave my bags in reception as I arrived early but I felt that they were not as safe as they could have been as they were not in a locker, so perhaps the addition of lockers could be something to make this great Hostel even better. I had a wonderful and pleasant stay and would recommend Equity Point to Anyone. Joe. ”

“ Fantastic location right in the heart of Midtown EVERYTHING I needed was within walking distance. The staff was great and everything was very clean and bright. The breakfast was good. Shared a four bed ensuite with several swell people, and I had everything I needed. I would definitely stay here again!! ”

“ I HAVE TRAVELED AND STAYED IN MANY HOSTELS AND THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST!.....I GIVE IT A GRADE "A". THIS IS WHAT HOSTEL LIVING OUGHT TO BE. OTHER HOSTELS NEED TO USE THEM AS AN EXAMPLE. I WILL STAY THERE AGAIN AND HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT! ”

“ The best hostel ever, I would definetly return there. Made a lot of friends on this very happy environment. Eric and Quentin from the bar are really awesome persons, make you feel like your at home with your friends. I don't now why anyone could think the oposite. Regards ”

“ A great hostel, was a great location and wonderful facilties. Was great value for money and was just what we were after for a short 2 night stay in NYC. Check-in was hastle free and checkout even easier. What's not to love about a place like this in NYC. ”

“ Great location. The price isn´t so good and it don´t have any information about taxes on website. The room have a key card and individual safe, that's was good. But any person can take the elevator and walk by the hostel. On the web site doesn´t have correct email or telephone number. The breakfast was good. ”

“ Overall, a brilliant place to stay. A good balance between hostel and hotel - smaller rooms (2 bunks) with a good quality en-suite and very comfy beds. Nice breakfast and good lounge area. Located right in the heart of Manhattan, with great access to CP, Times Square, Broadway and central subway stations. When I go back to NY again, I'll go here. ”

“ This is a very good hostel! You receive the towel and linens at check-in which is pretty good in the sense that you know you´ll sleep on a clean bed. The wifi works well, but if you don´t have your own computer, I don´t remember seeing any available for use. Rooms are pretty small for the number o beds, but are cute, clean and cozy. Breakfast is decent. And the location is perfect, right in times square in front of a metro entrance. I´d definately recommend this hostel or stay there again! ”

“ A good hotel in a great location. We had a double room which was really clean. Although it looked out onto a brick wall and small inner courtyard area, this actually meant it was really peaceful and dark in the room which made it perfect for uninterrupted sleep (a rarity in New York!) The staff were helpful, breakfast filling, and the decor simple but modern. We had a really good stay. ”
