It is very, very, very dirty hostel... please don't go there.. everything is dirty.. the rooms are not cleaned, the bathrooms are a nightmare.. no water.. very, very dirty... The man hwo is responsible with the hostel is a little crazy.. and he dosent make anythig there.. he just ask for money and that's it.. so as i said my advice is don't go there Damian, from Romania ~ 26th Aug 2011

DO NOT STAY IN THIS HOSTEL. I've travelled throughout Asia (including India which is notorious for being dirty) and I've never stayed anywhere so filthy. The bathrooms were beyond belief with water leaking from the roof, urine on the floor which was never cleaned, and pieces of plastic being used to cover rotting or broken areas. Although not completely sure, the sheets on our double bed hadn't been changed before we arrived. This despite a poster on the ground level advising guests 'not to us Anne, from France ~ 3rd Sep 2011

It has a very nice ambience, you meet very nice people in there, but it's very dirty, my room had fleas and I got all bitten, the toilet has infiltration and the shower isn't the most higienic thing... Miguel, from Portugal ~ 2nd Sep 2011

Cheap possibility to have a great time in Istanbul: Located in the city centre (Taxim, a very nice quarter with an enchanting atmosphere), you can reach all the important sights of Istanbul by foot. It was disgusting (for example the opened bin is full of used toilet paper: very exciting when you take a first look to the hostel...). Moreover, the shower is in the same room (2 square meters)right beside the toilet and the bin... We didn't even stay a night, we left 30 minutes after having arrived. Guys this palce is awesome! The owner is super friendly, he makes no worries at all. You can come back any time. It is perfectly situated, between taksim and the blue mosk.
