Got in to my dorm room to discover no pillow. Asked at reception and was then told they would get me one. I went out and was assured it would be there on my return. It was not - I slept without a pillow for the first night. The next day I was woken early to go downstairs and fill in a form I should have been given the day before. Then to discover I was also required to pay a deposit for a key I already had. The next day I had staff coming in asking me who I was and who else was in the room or had checked out. I got the impression the whole hostel is very unorganised and needs to improve. It was very disturbing and annoying. Also the air con blew out HOT air instead of cold at times.

Absolutely best staff I have come across my whole trip to australia. I felt they went above and beyond to help me plan and sort out any issues I had. Great job!

The appearance of this backpackers is kind of gloomy. They´ve tried to create a Backpackers where there´s no room enough. I wouldn´t say that is a lovely place. However, our room was clean, with A/C, no noises during the night and the location was excellent.

I had a great stay and it was reasonably priced. Anne took care of my trips and activities with professionalism and effeciency.
there were problems with someone picking us up from airport. the beds wern't changed upon our arrival from previous backpackers. a key was not available for our room for 1hour. staff did appear nice but were not organised and did not know what to do. the place was dirty ie. bathroom, kitchen... i have stayed in a number of backpecker places this was not a nice place. i would not stay there again or reccommed to anyone.

They are still making renovations but the place is pretty clean and has a great location. Real nice and helpful staff as well.
