It's almost a backpacker factory, it's all about filling all the beds. It's big and has a bar but otherwise it has not much character. The wifi is so slow it's hard to book things in advance and if you buy "faster" wifi (also for the Room) for 4£/24h it's not even better. There are flyers for activities, but when i used mine for the "free walking tour", i was waiting for half an hour at the meeting point until someone told me that the tour guide hasn't show up for weeks... The "free internet" in the bar barely works at best. And if you pay for internet, the connection is spotty. It was really frustrating to try to book future travel when I couldn't connect. Also the carpets in the rooms are really dirty and you can feel every spring in the old mattresses. Brittany, from USA ~ 7th Sep 2011

The booking site mentioned Twin Ensuite. As we were 4 couples, we wanted our own private rooms. Little did we know they were Bunkers in each room. The booking site should have mentioned this. Also, the Bathroom was very small. It was difficult to take a shower there. The water pressure was poor in the shower. I wouldn't recommend this hostel to anyone.
