Average. Relatively helpful and friendly staff. The computer was broken when i first got here and they went way out of their way to accomidate me which was very nice. It´s VERY quiet and after a long night in the discotecas i found no problem sleeping late into the afternoon. At night, it´s a virtual ghost town. it was nice to be able to escape the party when i wanted to. also, the location is fantastic, 10 minutes walk to Kennedy park and 10 minutes to larcomar. definitely worth the 11 dollars or so a night for a private room.

I dont know how they do work with their booking system, but we booked room with private bathroom for 4 days well in adevance and when we arrive, they have no room for us,so we end up in room without bath. That was still ok until i went pay for it and that was the surprise !! They dont keep the price, wich they advert on hostelworld.com , so they dont care, that i allready pat the deposit and thez charge me 2.5 time more, then they should !!!!!

I loved this hostel because the staff is really nice and helpful. Is a great place to stay close to the beach and to the important tourist spots.

There was a funny smell in the bedroom. The staff was very friendly and attentive. A great location.

This is a very basic place. The shared showers are unsanitary and the staff is less than helpful. Still it was a good deal. But we would have gladly paid a few dollars more for quality staff, hot water, and clean bathrooms. The location is pretty good, but look elsewhere if you can.

Oh my god. The worst hostel we have ever stayed in. Although we booked here two weeks in advance and they had taken our deposit, they had either (a) given our room away or (b) they never actually had the room. We reserved a double (with double bed) and a private bathroom. We got a very damp, smelly, twin with no bathroom. It was the most depressing place we had ever stayed and looked nothing like the photos on line. They promised to give us our proper room for the second night but failed again. We were offered a squat with about 6 single beds in plus random dumped furniture. DO NOT STAY HERE. For your own sanity.
