I really enjoyed staying there. I am backpacking across Europe and this hostel is different from every other one I stayed in. It's really familiar and really Italian. You don't have to have a bar in a hostel to have fun!

This is the place to be in florence , its in the heart of the city and you get to feel the joy of florece,i got to meet lots of students frm all over the world,and all basic staff except tv is there,on average you will never get a better deal.though dont judge first impressions,its a safe place , and a locker is provided for you if requested ,just maybe carry your own lock though they provided one for me .
N.B this makes you feel like home, and the crew/staff are the best esp ,the all around friendly guy , he walked us all to the nearest supermarket thet saved us alot when it came to food stuff (FRANCO) his just the best person.

We'll NEVER recommend this hostel to anybody. We did the booking one month before the arrival and, as soon as we arrived in, the "guy" told us that there was no posibility to stay as he affirmed that there were no beds available, even if we had our booking with us. then, as for a miracle, he told us that if we paid him more money he gives us a bed for that night. HE DID IT TO EVERYBODY WHO WAS IN THE HOSTEL!!!!!!!!!! The place is awful, no security, no lockers at all, no cleaness, no way to relax as there's always noise. I have travelled all around the world, always in hostels and booked with hostels.com as this web gives me security. But this time was horrible. I paid for a booking that then it wasn't. I though that ALL hostels included in this site were trustable as I trusted in hostels.com, but I had so many problems with this hostel. I DO NOT RECOMMEDED TO ANYONE

Great hostel, just not enough of that hot water to go around you know. Staff is great, hostel is great. Kitchen is great. There were some characters there and that makes it all the better.

Great location, but terribly uncomfortable beds. Wasn't the cleanest place either, but all in all not bad. A great place to socialise as well, I met a bunch of people here and they were more helpful in terms of things to do in Florence than the staff was!

The hostel wasnt the cleanest, but the staff was really friendly and its in a great location within walking distance of everything. Also there is no breakfast or common room, but you can use the kitchen...its not the best place to meet other solo backpackers, but it all really depends on who is in you room.

By far one of the best experiences I have had thus far in Florence. The people here are sooo nice and hospitable. We got in about 4 in the morn, and our bed was given away, but the guy walked us around for a good hour trying to help us out. We eventually just came back to the hostel where he put us up in his room. The rooms and bathrooms are very clean, and it is located right in the heart of Florence. I would reccomend this hostel for any student traveling through.

Only one thing is not good in this hostel: to be in the 4th floor (too much stairs). The staff was lovely and gave us good tips about the city and around.

The location is good and the manager Nino is friendly, but we had to ask for more lightbulbs in our room because it was too dark. They also said we couldn't cook in the kitchen. There were only two bathrooms for the whole hostel, which each only had one toliet.
