One of the beat places we have been in China. The staff was always very helpful and kind. We had a lot of fun there. We booked 5 dorm beds and got 2 rooms with 3 and 2 beds for the same price! If you go to Lijiang, go to the Farerdak! Location is a little bit out of the crowed but you can be in the middle of everything in 2 minutes by feet.

We had a terrible time trying to find the place - called a few times and were hung up on. When we finally arrived there we had two separate rooms for the 5 of us and no en suite - nothing like what we thought we had reserved. The staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be though they spoke no English.

Quite rustic and in need of a lick of paint, but a perfect location to explore the old town of LiJiang - it is literally a one minute walk to all the attractions in LiJiang. Friendly and helpful staff.

Very pretty setting. A nice location in Old Lijiang, but off of a main road so it is quiet. Do book directly through them, and not through HostelWorld as they didn't seem prepared for us, though luckily they had a room.

The description of the guesthouse ist completely wrong. There is no pool, no aircondition, no towels, no elegantly rooms. The guesthouse is ok. But too expensive. And they should write the truth.
