Excellent hostel or better hotel near downtown of Nelson. Clean, quiet rooms and very nice restaurant downstairs, cheap beer! Staff more than friendly. Only cons for the kitchen: time visiting the hostel one of the fridges (1/2) was broken, thermostat in the other hob was broken ( i burnt my pancake, ffs!) and the kitchen is really small. Also it would be easier to find all the utensils, cups and plates if the cupboards were tagged. Anyway, excellent hostel. Olli, from Finland ~ 28th Dec 2011

Windows in room are opened and can not be closed. When it is cold, it is really unconfortable. In addition, the duvet is not thick, and you have to sleep with your clothes. Be careful, towels is not included in the price. julien, from France ~ 12th Oct 2011
