  • Super friendly staff, great terrace to hang out on and very quiet during sleeping hours. One of the best hostels I've ever stayed at.

  • Definitely a backpackers hostel, with a very social atmosphere and lots of diverse travelers. Nice roofdeck and clean rooms. No personal lockers or locks to the rooms. Strange semi-industrial location, but still fairly close to everything and good value for the money.

  • I was living in hostel from may, 1 till may, 11. And i can say that it's a nice place to stay in Tel-Aviv. There are a lot of cafes, bars, snack bars, shops near hostel. Central bus station is located not far from hostel and using it you can reach all parts of Israel. If you spend 10 minutes you will come to the Rotchild boulevard, it's Tel-Aviv center, and you will find great amount of night bars and clubs. Staff of hostel is really friendly and hospitable, if you need a help they will do it.))

  • There was a lot of street noise in our room that looked out onto the street, which was very unfortunate, as the window was open! There was air conditioning, but I hoped we wouldn't need it, and so didn't close the window, so the problem could have been considerably reduced. It was a great hostel with great services other than that, though!

  • Great place to meet fellow travelers. The atmosphere is fun; everyone is open to meeting new people, and the staff at the hostel likes to get to know the guests and go out with them. The location is excellent in terms of places to go in the city, but the neighborhood has a long way to go in terms of cleanliness and lighting. A few years of gentrification will do.

  • Very friendly staff, genuinely tried to ensure I would have an easy stay. The distance to Rothschild St. is a bit of a walk, but the local area that they recommend can be a good time. I also left an item behind, and sent an email to see if they could find and hold it for me, to which I was assured they would. This was my first time in a hostel, but I half expected to be told I left nothing. Definitely recommend this place whether traveling alone or in a group, for one day or one week.

  • Very good location for budget accommodation in Tel Aviv close to the center and central bus station. Hostel for young, open people who like to spend time among others.

  • Some staff where GREAT, some where not so great. Very littele room in the female dorm. It was uncomfortable that there where people sleeping in the common area by the dorms. loved the roof terrasse. definitively value for money and I would for sure go back.

  • I have nothing but amazing things to say about this hostel. From the moment I walked into the place until my last night there, I felt a part of a family and made friends that will last me a lifetime. Every staff member was amazingly nice and cool, and constantly made sure i was comfortable. Two volunteers, Eliza and Sam were especially nice and took us out every night even at times where they were running on only 3 hours of sleep. I can't thank Florentine enough, and I dream of coming back!

  • I loved the Florentin Hostel. Really clean, helpful staff -help with liggage is unusual in a backpackers. Lovely atmosphere. Despite my not noticing the advertised policy of no one over 40 - blatant discrimination and wld be unlawful where I come from - the staff welcomed me, an over-70 year young, warmly. The light industrial location looks pretty blah, and a bit intimidating later at night, but there are delightful cafes tucked in side streets.

  • It is rather nice hostel with greate roof terrace and unformal atmosphere. It situated not far srom sea and Old Jaffo (10-15 minutes to go), but taxists do not know where this street is But we had two problems. First time they counted number of beds wrong and one girl had to sleep on sofa in common zone, and then hat when we returnned to the hostel in a five days (asked for reservation) they lost our reservation and we had to look for other hostel, and that was awful and ruined the impression
