I can't do anything but recommend Florentine Hostel. When I first arrived for check in everybody shook my hand and welcomed me and I immediately felt at home. The lounging area is amazing as were the people there - relaxed ambiance and great service (help with getting around). The crew is always smiling and ready to help out. I've gotten some great friends there and I'm definitely coming back! No bad word! Clean, nice, and homey! Thank you guys!

The best hostel experience I had in Israel. It really felt like a family while I was there and that it was a real home to come back to.

Other guest were very friendly and I had a lot of good conversations in the common areas. The facilities are very basic but clean. The staff was very helpful. Michelle, from USA ~ 23rd Jan 2012

Своеобразный хостел. плох или хорош - зависит от того, какие цели вы преследуете, пребывая в стране\городе. DIANA, from Russia ~ 12th Jan 2012

One night was enough to show that Florentine Hostel is the place to stay if you are looking for a small, friendly hostel in Tel Aviv. A couple minute's walk from Florentine, a nice neighborhood with cafe's and pubs and a great nightlife. interactions with other guests was easy and common. Terrace/Balcony with hammocks and couches offers a great place for a morning coffee or cigarrete overlooking Tel Aviv. Very helpful and friendly staff that know the area very well. They also have guitars!

I did not realise that I was too old for this hostel (58), but happily they let me stay for 1 night. I really enjoyed it. Very nice and helpfull staff, a clean bed and a nice neighbourhood with lots of cheap restaurants, near Jaffa. The place reminded me of the 70ties! I visited the Westbank and it was nice to discover that there are also nice jews in Israël! helena, from Netherlands ~ 31st Oct 2011

It's a good place with alot of character. The staff is good and the place offers you loads of fun. It's a real backpacker's place. It is cheap and free breakfast + other stuff is included. The biggest problem is the location. Is takes 30 minutes to walk to the city center and there are few bars, restaurants, small stores, markets and convienent stores in the neighbourhood. However, it can be worth staying there if you want to enjoy Tel Aviv.
