- “ It is a little hike to downtown around 15-20 minutes. Otherwise it is good, the bar and common area are small but fun great for meeting people. The staff are helpful and are knowledgeable. ”

- “ Great youth hostel. If your looking to party in Amsterdam this is the best hostel for you! So so much fun. They have a full bar and a smoking room that are both great. Louder music, young people, I love it there! If your older or don't like to have fun I wouldn't recommend it. ”

- “ This place is as good as a hostel could be. Definetely staying here next time in Amsterdam! Definetely not for people with social anxiety though. The bar is always crowded and there is a good chance to meet some naked dude getting out of the common shower. Toilets in the coridor are turning into freezing cameras during winter season. But everything else is perfect - location, breakfatst, rooms, staff, showers. And I would actually complement the stairs. After 5 days I got awesome leg muscles =D ”

- “ Great atmosphere, had a lovely time jamming with fellow musicians; great vibe. The staff were so patient, we had a really complicated booking and they were really calm and helpful. Fantastic having a bar in the hostel although it was so comfy didn't see many other bars. There are a lot of toilets and showers, although they are tiny some you can barely sit down with knees in front (for girls). Breakfast was great and goes on for ages, not too strict about finishing at 10:30 ”

- “ I just crashed there for a night but wish I could have stayed longer! The staff were great, and the atmosphere was really laid back. Location is super easy to get to from the airport (and everywhere else)... easy access to the center of the town and some really great neighborhoods without being in the Red Light District. :) ”

- “ Youth Hostel!! If you're looking for a party all night long every day, you've come to the rigth place. If not, you're in big trouble. Drunk teens and loud music every night till 5 in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful, but they were not dutch so their knowledge of the city/transportation etc. was at a minimum. Breakfast was good: coffee, tea, juice and milk, bread, hardboild eggs and cereals. ”

- “ I like this place! A bit raucous and loud but good staff and lots going on. This is a party place so, don't come here looking for peace and quiet. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were clean. Bring your own lock to secure your gear in the clever baskets under the beds. Close enough to public transportation that getting around isn't a problem. ”

- “ A wert nice hostel that was smartly decoreted and inviting. The staff is super freindly and helpfull. Reception,bar and smooking room in the same area that makes it good for socilaizing. The hostel is close to vaandelpark and is situeated in a nice area with walking disctance to evrything. Liked it alot ”

- “ This hostel was the best I stayed at while in Europe. It was clean and had working bathrooms with hot showers. The hostel supplied a map of the city which was laid out in easy to read format and showed where everything was. Where the hostel was, the sights, the tram, the bar clubs etc, the coffee shops. The staff was friendly and was in a very good location, close to most things and there is a Tram stop five minutes away for things that aren't. ”
