- “ Although the website states "parking" for this hostel, there is nothing but ordinary street parking, which can be quite hard to find og expensive over time, in downtown Cape Town, where the hostal is located. When we realized this, however, the manager was kind enough to refund the deposit for our booking, such that we could find a new place to stay, WITH parking. ”

- “ Everything at this place was worth the costs - only this was that there wasn't a small shelf or a table in the private double bedroom or in the shower room. Everything else was just wonderful. Recommend!! +++ ”

- “ Forty8 Backpackers was one of the best accomodations I ever had! You feel home from the first minute. Friendly stuff with help whenever you need it, clean rooms, on the corner to pubs and restaurants. Next time in Cape Town, I'll stay there again. ”

- “ Best place we stayed at during 3 weeks in South Africa. Staff friendly, incredibly clean and perfect location. Big plus compared to other backpackers close to Long st is that it actually doesn't get disturbed by party people because of smart location! A bit more expensive than some other backpackers - but on the other hand its more of a hotel! Big recomendations ”
