  • We were here at the end of our trip and had some basis for comparison. The hostel was clean with friendly staff and clean linen.

  • Great stay, personable and helpful staff, just be aware it is next door to a needle exchange... no safety issues, but probably not good for youngsters.

  • I do not recommend staying in the 16 person dorm. It is way too crowded and our room was a mess when we arrived. We had to wake up early for tours and being in a room with so many noisy people made it impossible to get enough sleep. There were only two showers and two toilets to be shared by the 16 person dorm and the 12 person dorm. The bathroom was way too small. Also, twice I reported the soap dispenser not working and it was never fixed meaning there was no soap to wash your hands for 5 days

  • Me and my girlfriend stayed at the Four Court Hostel for 3 nights and we had a very good time there. The staff was awesome, the room was totally okay and the breakefast was ordinary but we didn't expect more. I highly recomend this place for low budget travellers. Would definitly go there again!

  • Everything was absolutely wonderful and the staff were very, very helpful! Definitely felt safe and the location was ideal! The overall cleanliness was good for how many people were living in one place. I do wish there was another toilet or shower for how many people were in one room, but still wasn't a major issue! I would definitely stay here again, you cannot go wrong with the price!

  • I only spent one night here, but wish I had stayed longer. This hostel is very welcoming, with a staff that is very kind and helpful. One of the best things was that even though we had to check out at 10:30 we were able to leave our stuff in the locked luggage room until 6pm, so we could explore the city without our backpacks. I would definitely stay here again.

  • This was our FAVORITE hostel of our whole trip. Awesome staff, super willing to help, very friendly, great suggestions of things to do. Had someone around 24/7 to let you in,a locked room to store luggage, great hangout area downstairs, loved the free internet/wifi (wifi didn't work on the 3rd floor though) Great location, close to Temple Bar and other attractions. Definitely would go back!

  • Average hostel with both good and bad points. Good: excellent location within walking distance to most tourist attractions, including Guinness Storehouse and Christchurch Cathedral. Bad points: very busy with guests, so there was a bit of a wait for breakfast, overcrowded fridges, and overflowing garbages. That being said, the staff were very good at keeping tabs on everything as well as guests.

  • The Staff was very helpful with informations. The Hostel is very good located, you can walk to the most sight in less than 15 minutes. The bed-room and the sheets were clean. The bathroom was a bit small to share for 30 girls (12 and 16-bed-room) only 2 showers, 2 toilets and 2 sinks. Also were the facilities a bit worn-out. The main-kitchen as well. The breakfast was good, besides I was missing soy-milk. But all in all the Hostel was very good and I would always recommend it!

  • Good hostel location, the staff was awesome. The only down side to it was that some idiot was smoking in our room and I took care of that issue very quickly. Other than that there is TONS of places to go for food and site seeing. The Jameson and Guinness brew house and distillery are not too far way. This was a nice hostel I would recommend it.

  • Can't complain about anything in this hostel, the facilities were all pretty nice. My only real complaint is that it seemed like they were pinching every penny. The sinks turn off after like 3 seconds making hand washing a pain. The showers turn off after 20 seconds and have no temp. control. The signs claimed this was an "eco-friendly" policy, but my guess is that they were only implemented to save the hostel a few bucks. The pub crawl was definitely worth the 12 euros though.
