nice to stay during vacation though its far from the business district.. i enjoyed my stay even for a limited time.. i planned to be back soon and stay again at gas 81..Its one of the cheapest place to stay in singapore. i recommend to provide ensuite rooms for visiting couples to have more privacy.. axe from Philippines

The single worst hostel I have ever seen in my 10 months of travelling. Walked in to find noone to help and apalled in the state of the hostel so walked out to find accomadation elsewhere. Very dirty and has no reception desk at all. Terrible location and poor facilities (The one computer they have with free internet doesnt work). Under no circumstances stay at this hostel or give your credit card details to the owner as i have experienced credit card issues.
