Friends Backpackers in Seville, Spain

The location of this hostel is its best feature, not even two minutes away from the catherdral and center of the sights. However it gets very hot in Sevilla (+40C and over) and there was no AC! That makes it very difficult to sleep at night because it is still 30C at midnight Adam, from Canada ~ 20th Jun 2009

It's one of the noisiest hostel I've ever been in... The main hall, where the stairs are, goes from the ground to the ceiling, so in order to get to any room, you have to pass through it. My room had an only window in front of the stairs, so I didn't get to sleep much. My room and the common bathroom weren't cleaned up the second day, and the breakfast isn't served on time. The only good thing is, it's really well located, a 200m walk from the cathedral. I wouldn't stay there again. :( Marie-Claude, from Canada ~ 10th Jun 2009

The security here was not very good. The secured luggage room was actually a hallway between the reception and the bathrooms. No security at all. We were initially given a room without lockers and had to complain to be moved to a room with lockers. What little was available for breakfast was gone by the time we went up to find it. The staff is great: friendly and helpful. Spent a good time relaxing on the terrasse/kitchen. And I was very nicely suprised by the cleanliness and the beautiful decoration of the hostel.
