Big thanks to the staff! wish I'd started my NT time here. maybe the shared bathrooms could have a mop out in the arvo ~ nicer for evening showers

The staff at Frogshollow (all my dealings were either with John or Chelsea) went beyond the call of duty to help and accomodate me when my luggage was lost at Darwin airport and I had subsequent problems using my debit card in Australia. They never got tired of my questions, had loads of good advice and were really supportive for the few difficult days I was with them. Partly due to them I was able to forget my troubles and concentrate on enjoying my stay in Australia.

I didn\'t actually stay here because our plans changed and so we stayed at Elkes because they had a room for both nights and therefore we wouldn\'t have to move. Unfortunately, I didn\\\'t read about the cancelation police being different for a single room and therefore lost my money on this. Lo

Good sense of community and far from the loud annoying backpacker party places downtown.

i stayed in kookabura room and it was the messiest hostel room that i have ever stayed in. i think the hostel could use laundry facilities for their own use during the night and allow paying guests to use laundry during the day, not just from 2pm.

Some rooms need to be swept out more. Hostel $5 bbq was good.

This place is in a good location but looks neglected and not well maintained. It may be stressed by too many young backpackers who are in party mode. Should not be suggested for other youth hostel types wanting a quiet night in. Disappointed by a lack of cleanliness, needs permanent staff.
