This is a great place to stay! Our room was really big with proper beds and the whole place was so clean. Excellent location as it's so close to Termini. Mabri is a legend and will give you great give tips and information on Rome (where to go out and how to get about town etc) - cool dude! Overall, a great place to stay. Ok there was no kitchen but the food in Rome is great and it's not that expensive. Would definitely stay here again! Great!!

Funny Palace treated me really well. They gave me a great route to see all of the sights, plus good places to go out at night, and they gave me a bottle of wine for staying with them! Only drawback was that there is no lounge/hang out area to meet other groups of people.

Nice hostel! Only complain is that there's some bugs in room and queue for the restroom...other than that everything is excellent!

The staff was really nice and did a good job of outlining our trip for us and giving good advice. They gave us a free bottle of wine and it made for a good get together with the other people staying there when we all combined our free bottles. It is not a very large hostel or super luxurious but it was nice enough. no ac but at night it cooled down enough not to matter. they were very nice about letting you use the internet at the affiliated internet cafe. short walk to the train station.

Really nice staff - laid back and helpful, even give you a bottle of wine when you show up! Really convenient to have the hostel also double as laundry and internet service. The room is kind of warm in July, but at least there were 2 fans for 4 people - I've definitely experienced more uncomfortable rooms in Rome. I'd go back to Funny Palace in a flash!

The staff at Funny Palace was super!!! My luggage was delayed and Mabri helped me call people and find out information on the whereabouts of my luggage. Him and the other staff people that I met are extremely welcoming and personable, and I had a great time in Rome because of all their help.

OK hostel, really close to the train station. Real beds, no bunk beds, which was a nice change. No common area in the rooms though, no kitchen! The bathrooms were clean, but no hot water. There was only one safe in the room, which was really tiny and you had to share it with the three other people in the room with you.
