Highly recommend this place!We stayed there for 2 nights in the hotel up front.In the back is the hostel.The hotel seems like it used to be a very nice hotel back in the day.It still possesses alot of character, has a nice bar, and supposedly has a dance club in the basement.It's definitely a quirky place but very fun and everyone was very helpful.The room are definitely outdated and the private bathrooms were small and not well ventilated but everything was clean. SO AMAZING! definitely some of my best memories from my trip. Really neat hostel combined with a hotel. Not too far from the train station probably 15 min walk and grocery store is just 5 mins from there. The restaurant was too expensive for us but the staff was so helpful! They helped us book canyoning and paragliding while we were there and trust me, we aren't the type to do that stuff but we are SO glad we did. Probably 2 of the best days of my life. Cheapest hostel we could find at short notice, and didn't expect much, but we were very pleasantly surprised! The staff were friendly, the rooms were decent. Great facilities! It's not in the center of Interlaken, but Interlaken isn't as big as it looks on a map, so you can walk anywhere within 5-10 minutes. Or just use the bus (they give you a free bus ticket for the duration of your stay). Would definitely stay here again! Piet, from Australia ~ 30th Jun 2011
