GO Backpackers Hostel in San Sebastian, Canada

The staff were really rude and not very knowledgeable about the area. The rooms were okay but the pillow was like sleeping on paper. When we checked in, they accused my friend who had never stayed at a hostel in his life that he was on a do not stay list for being belligerent. It took almost half an hour to figure it out and after driving all day we were not impressed. However we did have a great time at the hostel pub. I wouldn't stay there again, but at the same time I don't plan on return

Unsure about the knowledge of the area comment as both staff that were involved are lifelong Edmontonians who have hostelled as well. My apologies regarding the delay due to the name issue of our computer system. We take the security of our guests seriously and want all our guests to feel safe and to not have "bad" people come in (especially if we had to kick them out before). Hope the rest of your trip is good and safe travels.
