We stayed in two different rooms. One was super tiny with bunks, The other large and spacious withj a double bed and bunks. Spend the extra three dollars for the nicer room. Its worth it.

Despite a very friendly staff, this place was all but a backpackers hotel. A lot of guys there hanged out for months and were not very nice or clean. Some of my food even got stold. My advice, find another place.

kind of wish it was in an area with more stuff to do, but overall i think it was a good stay. comfy beds are always a plus.

The hostel is in a noisy and somewhat unsafe neighborhood. Also, our room was cell-like.

the staff is great and the rooms are sufficiently clean and habitable. the location is poor however, not unsafe, just not many places to eat or get a drink nearby, otherwise its cool.

I was extremely satisfied with the trip to Galileo Hostel. Everybody was extremely friendly in a town where almost nobody is to friendly. I actually returned to this hostel on my way back home.

The staff was great at Galileo. They helped us navigate the (crazy!) bus system, and they let us use their laptop when the communal computer was down. Room was small but clean, the only complaint was the giant wad of hair in the shower...but I've seen worse in college dorms, so no big deal. Definitely a good choice. I'm not sure about the "fun" factor since we were only there one night and were exhausted after our flight in. But it seemed close (or at least within a short taxi ride) of some good bars and shopping centers.
