Great hostel to stay at. It takes about 20 mins to get into the heart of the city but well worth it. Especially for the extra bit of quietness and relaxation.

The room I stayed at could not be locked, so it remained open the whole time.

The lockers were one floor up. I have to walk upstairs every time. That is fine for me though. The staff are extremely helpful. They even give me a lot of tips on where to go and what to see. By the way, Tourist information centre in Barcelona is bad. I cannot imagine that they are closed on holiday when tourists rush in.

It could be very very useful to give brakfat ;-) or to put some food machine since there is no place where to eat or drink closer to the hostel (in the night when i arrived i was so hungry ...:( )

All I can say is dont book a double room with shared bathroom!! Before I get into my rant I have to say on the whole this place is realy nice, friendly and clean. However, the room we had was next to two toilet/shower rooms and the main kitchen. we were there for 3 nights and the first night was so bad we had to move rooms for the second night. ( this room was really good and quiet). Alas, on the last night there were no other available rooms so we went back to our first room only to spend the whole night being woken up again and again!!
Book at your peril ( unless ur a party animal!!).
