Cheap and really well-located address (100 meters from the Red Sea). Just a big lack of cleanliness. fabien, from France ~ 11th Sep 2009

Nice place, Perfect for a new honey moon. The Staff great. But there is a problem with the "tax" you must pay if you want to go to Aqaba. The taxi drivers are not nice sometimes. chaves, from Spain ~ 31st Aug 2009

My daughter and I stayed here on our tour of the middle east and we loved the accomodations. We had a/c, thank the Lord, and our room was clean with it's own bathroom. The pool area was a bonus and Jamal, the owner himself, took us on our guided snorkeling adventure just across the way to the Japanese Coral Reef. We had our own car, so the distance into Aqaba was no problem, and we actually preferred being close to the beach and away from town. We drove by it twice before investigating the a Alexis, from USA ~ 19th Aug 2009

This hostel is VERY far away from the citiy of Aqaba, but there is nothing to do anyway. It's very close to the beach and the "japanese gardens" so it's for people who want to enjoy diving. They have a pool, which is great, and the rooms are very beautiful with AC which is a great plus in the desert. Be warned - a cab ride from Aqaba to the hostel is never more than 4 JD, if you take it from the israeli border it's 7 JD. They will try to rip you off every time, so never pay more than this. :))) Vladislav, from Bulgaria ~ 22nd Jul 2009

Staff are helpful. But,,,,,,,, I booked a bed in a cottage for dorm, but it was not a "cottage", it was a "tent" which was covered some cloth for a flame and I could see the sky. very sandy. It was nice if the weather is nice, But I thought I can stay cottage, that's why I was disappointed about it. After all I changed a room after one night. Yuko, from Japan ~ 22nd Apr 2009

Backpackers paradise!! If you're looking for something with warmth and charm, this is it! We normally stay in the resort-style hotels; but once you've seen one, you've seen them all. We wanted something a little different. This place was fun! We went snorkeling in the Red Sea, swam in the pool, and spent hours by the fire talking and sharing. The meals are excellent - a little over-priced, but worth it for the convenience. The staff was extremely friendly, and the owner goes out of his Kathryn, from USA ~ 16th Feb 2009
