This is a great hostel and in a great location; you could easily spend 1-2 days here without a car. If you love to dance there are several clubs within walking distance, gay and straight. I recommend renting a car so you can take some road trips. Mexico is walking distance. This hostel has character: the elevator is like those you only see in old movies. When we checked in for a 2 mixed dorm and got in the room, we got a bit embarrassed \'cause there was JUST a bed. They gave us 2 sheets of clean linen, though. HOWEVER, I have to confess that it was my first stay at a hostel ever which offers you the least amenities with the most friendliness.
