The bedroom was a half-basement room as if remodeled from a storage which was very damp and smelled to much of mold for a person to stay. We requested a change in our room to the counter. But Gasthof just sleep in that room which isn't so bad. We requested to check-out, but Gasthof replied that they could not made a refund of the money which was already paid, and to just leave. I hope that no one other will be victomized by a place like this being registered at Hostelworld.com

Nice view, very friendly staff, good food. Though it is not easily walkable from Interlaken ost, but one can easily utilize the hourly bus service. I would recommend this.

A little hard to get to unless you have a car but our room was very clean and comfy in a classical Swiss chalet setting.

We had a great stay here. Our room was clean and quaint. The location was wonderful because it was away from the "touristy" area, and only a short walk away from Interlaken. The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast on the balcony was amazing with good food and a breathtaking view of the Alps.

Loved this cute, cozy, chalet style hotel near Interlaken. Very clean and comfortable, with friendly staff. The hotel is just outside Interlaken, so you'd need a car to stay here, but for those not wanting to spend the evening in touristy Interlaken, there is also a restaurant at the hotel with fantastic homemade meals and local beers, with amazing views of the Alps. Would definitely stay here again!

This place was awesome! We had the loft room which was spacious and squeeky clean as was the bathroom. Our room windows overlooked the swiss alps and river and was breathtaking to wake up to! The staff were excellent and the place has a lot of character. Interlaken was a great spot to relax and unwind. The guesthouse was about 10mins walk from center of town, but there are plenty of photo opportunities along the way so well worth it. Oh and the coffee at breakfast was great!
Small cozy rooms. Comfortable beds. Very clean. Good restaurant. Spectacular views. Not in the most convenient location, but the walk to town is easy and beautiful. Would definitely stay here again.
