really lovely staff and my top tip is ask for a room looking onto the square, as the others are internal courtyards or look onto back. We had a view of the sqaure, a cute little balcony and a double bed.. what more do you need. its no frills, but hey.. who needs frills when Barcelona is on your doorstep! The location is great. close to everything, 5 mins to the ramblas, barri gothic... would stay there again for sure!

Good location, very close to the Rambla and metro stops. We stayed in a double with shared bath. The room was small, no tables/chairs to put stuff on, and the worst part was the bed was only 6 inches off the floor on a wooden frame. The window was in an air vent with no screen so bugs came in. The one bathroom for double rooms was very clean but shared with 8 people total which made it a challenge to get ready. The staff vary with friendliness and willingness to help but are bilingual. Free internet which is very slow! Kitchen is sort of crapy. They do give you a towel but do not change the sheets or towel daily. Security was good. you get a set of keys to the building which makes it easy to come and go. There is an elevator which is good. Would recommend for backpackers but not expensive for the quality. Would consider staying again but would request a double room facing the street which has double windows with lots of natural light.

Great Location, friendly and helpful staff. We had a private room with a shared bath. Shared a private/secure hallway with two other rooms. Bathroom situation wasn't bad at all (compared to what I was expecting) since we shared with only two other couples. Best part was LOCATION!!

Friendly staff, very good location right next to Plaza Catalunia. However, the room where I stayed was very badly maintained. The heater did not work and it was very cold. The blankets were a bit dirty...

We just stayed one night, and really only slept there. We didn't take advantage of the facilities.
The main thing is that you can slep there, in the city that never sleeps!
