The 5 bed private ensuite is really maximising every mm of floor space. The 4th bed could only slide out 2/3 width.With the 5th bed in use, the bedside table had to be moved into the bathroom/toilet.Nevertheless, hostel is clean and staff friendly. Loi, from Malaysia ~ 18th Oct 2011

Very nice people, but the location is terrible. I wouldn't recomend to stay at Monk Kok at all. The rooms are small and if you don't have a window you might have problems due to the lack of fresh air. Read Owner Comments Irma, from Germany ~ 2nd Sep 2011

This hostel is located close to the Mongkok train station, just 1 street across the exit. The hostel is a family business and it emphasize on cleaniness and security. I stayed in a single room and its pretty comfortable. Hongkong real estate is very expensive so you can't expect a spacious layout. I stayed in the hostel for 8 nights and I enjoyed my stay very much. Mr Tsai, Kitty and Cherry made my feel at home and assisted me with my travel plans. Good staff and stayed up till 1am for my arrival on the first night which was great. Bit more expensive than other places but room was nice and clean. The hostel is good . But the room we get. Cannot sleep two person for one (size :1.2meter) double bed . Now only I know hong kong hostel bed size very small. Please to remember told the incharge person . U want two single bed . If don't hv single bed . RAther don't paid any deposit . There will no refurn . I am very regret with stay at this hostel. Good place to stay. Ms Kitty and mr Choi are very friendly. Place is clean bus small. But thats everywhere in hongkong! So this is one of the places to be. Voor alle Nederlanders: qua ruimte wat behelpen maar eea is prima voor de prijs. Alles in Hongkong is klein en de metro brengt je overal. dit was voor ons een prima plek voor een paar nachten.
