- “ So...I didn't actually stay at this hostel, so I can't speak for the location and the actual quality. I did book here, but due to renovations, the hostel was not able to accomodate me. To make up for it, the owner made reservations for me at another hostel and offered to pay the difference. So, instead I stayed at Billie's backpackers. However, Gay Ellen at the Glacier House was very accomodating and helped with transportation to Billie's Backpackers. Kind and generous, I was very grateful. ”

- “ More like a halfway home for drug addicts and teens who didn't want to listen to their parents. Not a hostel environment at all! ”

- “ A box on high stilts in the backyard was supposed to be our 3 bed private room! Shared bathroom was appalling by Western standards. Carpets damp in places. This hostel would not pass inspection in Australia. However, the owner was very obliging - drove us to station the following morning, mailed me the mobile phone I left behind in my haste to leave. ”
