The hostel was nice, but huge! I spent a lot of time in the lounge since it was my last stop on my UK trip and I was broke and exhausted... but I barely saw anyone else. The other thing was paid internet access. This was the most expensive hostel I have stayed in while in the UK... and it was £1 per hour to use wifi! I also kept having issues where the wifi would stop working. For £21-23 you'd think they could give 1 hour of internet... Was very nice and clean tho!! And the staff were GREAT. Booked an 8bed dorm but were put in a 6bed ensuite, nice surprise! overall a good place to stay: beautiful building, good and safe neighbourhood, located right next to kelvingrove park, helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms. glasgow uni, pubs and bars close by. It is a bit of a walk to a supermarkt and to the city center (15-20min), which we didnt mind. Would stay there again! Valeska, from Germany ~ 28th Mar 2011
