Nice building. Decent staff. VERY NOISY BED!!! As a solo female traveler, I wouldn't stay here again. A bit out of the way and a long walk up empty streets to get home. Fine for a bed to stay in for a night though. Not a lot of character and no social life. I don't like the party hostels but I mean NO social life. Cheap internet though :-)

Loved the West End location, as it is a quiet neighborhood and an easy walk to the Underground station. Would suggest having a list of good West End Restaurants and Pubs at Reception, in order to help visitors explore the city better.

could have been just the day i was there but i found this place to be a bit sterile. Not much going on at all. Was a bit of a walk to the train/bus station.

Found it a bit out of the way, especially coming at night. It was also too big for my taste, but our room was really nice and spacious.

We had a nice stay..no problem, it was clean and quiet. More for families though.. Me and my friends are young and wanted to party.. but that just wasn't t he right hostel. It was very big and nice.. but it was hard to really meet any one in such a big building!..and it wasn't that central to anything.. it was about a 15-20 minute walk to down town.... Those are just minor details though. If you want a nice, clean quiet place.. this is for you!

Not the most fun hostel in Glasgow---the location, above Kelvingrove Park, seemed very safe, and the hostel itself safe and clean. As for character, it didn't really have too much. Pretty much your normal clean Scottish Youth Hostel---nothing to complain about, and nothing really exciting.

This Hostel was a very clean hostel, It was hard to find coming from the Train station. The staff were helpful, but this hostel is definetly not a party hostel!
