I stayed here for 8 nights for the film festival and was really disappointed by the standard of the hostel. We had constant problems with the lock to the door which went unresolved for several days and staff had to open the door for us. We got moved to different rooms because of the problem and the only had one shower for a whole floor and the place was very dirt. One of the worst hostels I have stayed in throughout my travels around the globe. Michael, from Australia ~ 24th Sep 2009

Im glad I was there, I think there should be a chapel room for those of us who want to pray. Jesus said " Ye must be born again". Paul, from USA ~ 14th Sep 2009

This place is great. Cant recommend it more. Staff is genuinely friendly and they've got everything you need for a good time in Toronto! I wasnt in Toronto for partying, but it's sure is a good place to start a night out!! Highly recommended... STEPHANE, from France ~ 13th Sep 2009

Half of the kitchen sink was clogged up at times, beer was bit expensive. Otherwise, people were friendly, room was safe, and I appreciate the free pancakes in morning. Joseph, from USA ~ 9th Sep 2009

A bit outlying Hotel. The cleanness surely because of jobs is missing. Breakfast is a bit light (alone pankake is given). Simon, from France ~ 21st Sep 2009

Avoid at all costs! Facilities are dirty, bare bone, and uncomfortable. For the "free pancake breakfast," they did not have enough utensils for everyone, so you'd have to go scavenging through the back room in hopes of finding a dirty utensil to wash. This characterizes the quality of our experience.

The Men shower on the top floor need some attentions. The rooms lack ventilation, it is very stuffy. Very noisy along the corridoors. The location is excellent. wai cheong, from Australia ~ 12th Aug 2009

Great location. Towels, sheets, and pillows provided. Was glad I brought my own pillow though, b/c there was what seemed to be a blood stain on the one the hostel gave me. alexandra, from USA ~ 11th Aug 2009
