- “ After being checked into this hostel by rushed staff, being handed sheets that looked and smelt as if they had not actually been cleaned, finding that the en-suite toilet door in my dorm did not fully close (sliding bit of wood as a door, which jammed 3/4 way across) and noting that all other visible residents at the time were male, some of whom looked as though they were high, others who looked me up and down in a way that made me feel distinctly uncomfortable, I slept elsewhere!!! ”

- “ Location is good (near the pretty, old part of Plymouth), but it's awfully run down - the bathrooms are a sight, the matresses have seen better days, kitchen and lounge could do with a thorough cleaning (like everything else). It IS the cheapest place to stay, though. One thing: If you tend to toss in your sleep, take the lower bunk - the upper ones have NO safety rails....!! ”
