I have had a very good stay at the Godzillas Hostel. It is near to one of the central metro stops, it's clean and the staff is nice. The doors are a bit thin, but sleaping in a dorm you need earplugs anyway. Tha bathrooms, kitchens and toilets are all delicate and quite new. I recomend this place wholehartedly! Gкуфе location from the Kremlin/Red Square and the metro.Staff is very helpful with maps and suggestions and gives you a tour of the space and lets you know what is available for you in the hostel. Some of the staff were great, other were very serious, and mixed up my reservation, so I had to change room after 1 day. Just stayed there for sleeping, so did not get to feel the real character Johnny, from Denmark ~ 9th Aug 2011

Very helpful staff just a query re why it costs so much to register- 600 rubles, when it cost me nothing in St Petersburg. Very cleanand staff spoke excellent english, very polite and could answer any query. Highly recomended. Good location a short walk from several central metro stations, great English-speaking staff, good number of kitchens and bathrooms spread around. Kept extremely clean. One dishonest business practice to consider: they quote prices in dollars, require cash payment in rubles, and use a terribly ficticious exchange rate to make the calculation. For my stay, this meant a silent 8 percent price increase, since the central bank rate was a hair under 28 and they calculated with 30 RUR/USD. Stephen, from USA ~ 12th Jul 2011
