Golden Mango Inn in Whistler, Cambodia

I recommend this hotel for its hospitality and good service.They provide free airport pick up and one way tuktuk to town.The staff are nice and helpful. They can arrange tour and bus ticket for you.The hotel owner is friendly and speaks excellent English.He can give you suggestions on places to visit.The room and bathroom are clean, which is my number one requirement in choosing a place to stay.Overall, my stay at Golden Mango Inn is a pleasant one. O.K this box does not have enough space for my opinions! Restaurant: extremely slow, we cancelled side orders which hadnt arrived when we had finished eating (having had our mains served one after the other!) Location: 3km form town but closer to temples. Reception: Staff v friendly. BUT they booked our bus to Loas and tried to charge us double the going rate. They had booked it when we asked for it to be reserved so we ended up haggling down to CLOSE to the rate but still had to pay extra.

We do apologize about our slow service at our restaurant, at the moment is Bon Phcum Ben ceremony so many of our staffs are requested for holiday to visit their family as it is the most important ceremony for Khmer people. By the way, the bus company to Lao had decreased the price BUT they did not inform us at all even if we called to reserve the tickets, once you told us that you found the price is lower, we immediately called to the company, then they say that the price is decreased so we finally sold the ticket to you by our contract rate but we really do not know why the price we offered to you was still more expensive!
